I am teaching a course on aircraft instrumentation but most of the material available relates to old technology or expensive laser gyros.

I have a skyview ADAHRS in my aircraft, but really don't know how it works. Is there any technical or training literature which explains how the MEMS gyros and accelerometers work?

Kirk Kleinholz from Dynon did an EAA webinar on this a couple of months ago, it was quite good, surprisingly technical. It's titled "The Magic Behind Your Glass Panel". You can watch it on their website (eaa.org) in their video player. Sorry, I can't post a direct link - not enough posts here.
