How to reset fuel computer

I added fuel to my RV to calibrate the tanks. I had to drain some out to fix a leak in one and added most of it back. When I choose EMS>FUEL, the little screen show FUEL ADDED: 201. I can adjust the total fuel with the FUEL knob but am limited to the 0-18 gallon range. Any way to reset the whole thing and let me enter the values I know to be right?

Under SYSTEM SETUP > AIRCRAFT INFORMATION > TOTAL FUEL CAPACITY, make sure that number is your max usable (ie, when you hit the "full" preset after filling, that's the number you want the fuel computer to sync to). The knob won't let you exceed that value. I suspect "full" is set to 18 on that page. The "preset" number is just another handy number to have available, in case you have say tabs that let you fill to full-10 gals. If you don't have another number you want to store in memory, just set preset to full as well.

I do not understand the FUEL ADDED 201.5

Where did that number come from?

My set up in EMS is for 18 gallons each tank for a total of 36.

Thanks!

Your current fuel on board in the fuel computer was -165.5 gallons because you hadn't been telling it to add fuel each time you filled up. So when you hit "full" it was telling you it had to add 201.5 gallons to get you to "full" which is 36 gallons.

This is a new RV. I have not flown yet but have put in some fuel to run through the system to check fuel flow, leaks, and debris. Four gallons in each wing, then about two gallons in each wing to pump out to establish "emtpy" with unusable fuel for my weight and balance. Then I calibrated the tanks, adding two gallons at a time for a total of 18 in each side. I did pump out the fuel in the left tank to fix the leak. So I am thinking that around 30 or 35 gallons has been pumped out of the tanks via the booster pump and out of the fuel line that connects directly to the carburetor. I supposed this all would be "registered" with the fuel computer and show some negative figure, but how am I getting the triple digit numbers mentioned above? When the fuel computer is first brought up on the screen via EMS>FUEL, the FUEL ADDED is a negative number way out of proportion to my activity. Once I turn the FUEL knob, the negative number changes to a positive number, again way out of proportion to my activity so far. My question I suppose would be, how can I reset the whole thing to zeros and start over? ie, FUEL ADDED = 0.0 instead of some large unrealistic negative or positive number?
Thanks!

Been a while but I went to (SETUP MENU > HARDWARE CALIBRATION > EMS CALIBRATION). than I followed the instructions to calibrate the fuel level for each side. Seemed like a easy process. marked empty. than added 2 gallons at a time and pressed a button. Did that all the way up to 24, which is the top of the sensor on a RV-10. After that it's done. Seemed I needed to go back a few times and change the number to make it more accurate, but it's an easy process from my recollection. Once saved it should be where you want it. 0 and on up.
