Hi all

How to select a second target in HSI like in pilots user guide figure 25. I have still both needle on the same position. If there a possibility to select the second to an airport or an virtual VOR to VOR. And give the distance to this point like HSI 1

Thanks

The bearing pointers can point to any source (ie, SkyView's internal fligth plan, an external NAV radio, an externa GPS navigator, and so on). But, if you only have one navigation source, the only bearing pointer you'll have available is the one for SkyView's own flight plan. So in your case, it will always point directly to your next waypoint in SkyView's flight plan. Interesting thought though.

So . . . with my SkyView, if I also have a Garmin 396 available, one HSI needle can point to the SkyView waypoint and the 2nd HSI needle can point to the Garmin 396 waypoint?

That is correct. My Glasair has the HSI indicate the Skyview active waypoint, one pointer shows the external GPS waypoint and the other points to a VOR.
