I'm using a flightcom 403 and an HS34 with one radio and no audio panel. The flightcom has accommodations for more passengers than I have seats. Is it possible to wire the hs34's audio out to the intercom mic input for one of the unused passengers? In other words, is the output of the HS34 electrically the same as the output of a headset mic with someone talking?

Out of the box our output is way too hot to drive a mic input. It might be possible to use a multi-turn potentiometer to drive the voltage way down, but we can't promise that it would work. The issue is that you need to cut the voltage to something like 1/1000th of what it's starting at.

Does your intercom have any other aux inputs? If so, there are devices designed to solve this problem. See http://wiki.dynonavionics.com/3rd_Party_Accessories_not_supplied_by_Dynon.

Would it be acceptable to route the Skyview audio output to an unused input on the audio panel? I was planning to roue mine to the ADF or DME input on a KMA 24. This would give me the ability to select when to listen to audio from the Skyview but give me the option to not listen. I see there is the ability to route to a switch which kills audio when grounded but would prefer to use the audio panel if possible.

I do have a music input. Is the output of the dynon on par with the output of an ipod or something like that?

Yes, you can use an unused audio input on an audio panel.

The Dynon output is basically like an ipod or similar, yes.

... but it is VERY loud unless you attenuate it a bit.

Here is the wiring diagram I used to hook up both HS34 and Garmin 496 audio to the music input of my Sport 200S stereo intercom:
