HSI current capabilities?

Does anybody know the current capabilities of the SV1000 HSI? I've read that it will display output from a Garmin SL30, as it has serial output. But available information is ambiguous regarding the display of vertical guidance.
WILL SV CURRENTLY DISPLAY SL30 ILS GLIDESLOPE DATA ON THE HSI??? Will it display ANY vertical guidance data of any kind on the HSI??
A definative answer to this question may save me a lot of trouble.

I use the Garmin GPS495 for NAV on SV and the HSI displays the VNAV that the 495 outputs.

Yes, glideslope and VNAV are displayed when available from a device (currently an SL30's glideslope, or the vertical guidance information from a Garmin portable). Yes, the SL30 is fully supported.
