HSI vor bearing pointer

I recieved my replacement D-180. With the old unit, the vor bearing pointer worked. With the new one, it does not. I do not know what I have done differently. This is a D-180, HS34, Garmin 430 setup. Any sugestions for the proper settings?

BTW, the old unit was dropped of at UPS today RMA5142

Have you pressed BRG SRC then turned the value knob? I bet you just don't have a source selected.

Alternately, you don't have the VOR talking to the HS34 for some reason. Make sure you have a NAV source set up in ARINC.

I have pressed the BRG SRC but did not turn the knob. I will try that.

The VOR course works when you hit the NAV source button so I know it is talking to the VOR part.

I will let you know if the above works. Probably will.
