ICOM Radio noise

The Radio works OK with some static however when I plug in my IPAD to the power plug with or without the IPAD turned on. the static is so bad the radio becomes useless?

In addition if I turn on the ipad inside the cockpit the same thing happens. The radio becomes useless. Help?

Lots of 12V to USB power adapters are very electrically noisy. Cars don't tend to have 120MHz AM radios so they don't design for that. All you can do is try other power adapters.

FYI, we don't sell ICOM radios or iPads, so there's not much more help we can offer.
