Use my Garmin for nav. Use the Skyview for SA, it gives a better display.
Loaded an ILS on the Garmin under procedure and then D to the airport on the Skyview. Ten miles out went to LOC on the Garmin as the controller. The loc and gs were active and on the Skyview but the cdi was not directional to the runway, it was 30 degrees off.
The loc captured the inbound course and the gs came down as expected. It is just disconcerting not to have everything lined up with the runway. How do I get my Skyview cdi display to ILS final approach course?

Select the 530W as your HSI input, not the SkyView. This is a selection on the SkyView. I assume you are using the SkyView ARINC module.

I use the GTN-650 for all flight plans, not the SkyView. That way the PFD is always set up for the GTN-650. If the 650 dies then it is easy to shift back to the flight plan on the SkyView.
