Hello.
Strange Problem.
AMP meter in SkyView always shows random (but high) value - about 25-35A whit any loads disabled. When engine running (Titan O-370) - about 60A.
Mystical moment - this value shows even master switch is off.
On screenshots configuration - disconnected motor cable, disconnected board battery, SkyView runs with internal battery. Testing 24/25 pins as recommended in similar topics - negative, shows any values, but not zero. Wires between shunt and EMS - OK.
I ready to believe in EMS malfunction :( But maybe exists options what I may to test?
Thanks!

The AMP input is a differential amplifier input.  So, if you short those two wires together (C37 P24/25) this will force the input to 0 volts.  The SV should display 0 Amps with two wires shorted together.  If not then the EMS is bad.  If it displays 0 Amps then you have something miss-wired. Base on your display of sensor debug data the SV is displaying exactly what it thinks it is seeing (x 1000).
Check you crimps!

Kurt, as I said in the first message - 24/25 wires is good - checked more than once. Shortening them not give anything - the ammeter shows the initial wrong value (25-30A), but not reset to zero. Also, I tested this on the shunt, and also directly in C37 plug.
Apparently, really EMS hardware failure?

The other thing to check is that those pins are really continuous to the connector. You can try connecting the wires together like you have, and then check that pins 24/25 are shorted together with a multimeter touching both on the face of the connector.

Anna,

Looking at your engine gauges i noticed the Manifold pressure reading 2.6 inHg, Oil pressure and Temp "X"ed out. even if you are on Dynon internal battery you should see real data on these. Is this a flying aircraft? Has this ever worked? Has the EMS been fully configured? You may have a ground issue or a config issue. Looks too me you have more than a single AMP reading that is wrong...

Tried. Amps reading stay wrong. No zero indicates when shorted.

Kurt, on screenshots only EMS and SkyView connected. All engine sensors, board battery is disconnected, but amps shows this. I tried to show that the ammeter shows values even when it has nothing to measure. When all system connected - pressure, temps and other gauges working fine. Aircraft on this moment in final assembly process, not flying yet. This problem with EMS meets on first ground engine tests.

That sounds like there's a hardware issue with the EMS module. Give our support team a call at 425-402-0433 or support at dynonavionics dot com.
