Hello guys,
I want to install one knob panel to my system of two SV D-700.
The panel is not still here but I want to be prepared.
On the master screen the two serial ports are busy, if I connect it to the other one , can I use it to the main one? On the manual I read that you should connect to SV network but I also saw a SV network hub.
I attach picture so you can see the installation.
I am completely new , bought TL-3000 last month with the SV, so I am sorry to ask but I could not find information.

There are 2 network ports on back of the SV_KNOB_ PANEL, so you can daisy chain the components.

So you mean, I can connect it to the second display , then use the Skyview Network Setup to detect it and it will work on both screens ?

Yes, if both screens and all other network devices are daisy-chained together, then all devices will be seen on the network and by both screens. This is why they include more than one DB9 connector. The Skyview network is all the items chained together in series using those connectors.
