Interference in headphones

We are operating Skyview with modules EMS, GPS, BAT, 2x AP servos. Other installed avionics: Garmin 695, radio SL40, TTX Garmin 328, PCAS Zaon XRX, intercom PM1000. Aircraft WT9, engine Rotax 912ULS.
Skyview is connected to separate switch, AP is also isolated from main Skyview bus.
Problem that I have is that when I switch on Skyview I have static interference in headphones. Sounds like, pk, pk , pkkkk, pk. Every second or so there is one pk. I have isolated all installed avionics it this interference comes down to skyview (G328 has some, but not even close to skyview) with AP servos switched ON or OFF. No difference. There is also no difference if engine is running or not. I have even changed intercom – different producer. Same thing.
Do you have any idea how to filter this from the circuit? It is extremely annoying.

I do not know actually. How do I know that? We have ordered all wiring from dynon, but there is no such specification as wiring with filter. I can also be wrong... BR, IŠ

Dynon have been supplying these to those who are having these'noise' problems which are SV specific - not needed for the legacy units ie D100 series but you have to ask as they are not standard issue with harnesses.

I should have mentioned there is 1 x 37 & 2 x 9 pin Dsub M&F connectors in the kit which screw directly onto the SV - the connectors have nut/screws that need to be reversedso they can be secured.

OK, now I know that we do not have this filter. Hope that once we get it it will solve the problem since we are in the process of installing several sets of skyview in the airplanes. Is this interference connected to specific SV unit or installation environment?
If dynon can be so kind and send me one set of this filters please. AIRNET, Slovenia, EU. BR Iztok Š.

SV's only, however very few installations have this problem - I have done many installs, most without this issue. My guess is composite planes are more likely to show the symptoms you have.

BTW - sometimes it only seems to affect certain frequencies in the VHF band.

I had a bad case in my RV10. All proffessionally installed with single point grounds etc. Two 10" screens gave the same level of noise on Garmin 530 and SL30 com receivers. Dynon supplied filters gave a complete cure. Although there are pops and cracks as the Dynon screens run through the boot up. This not a problem as normally start up is down with the Dynons powered up and the Nav/coms off.

Hi!

I checked wiring yesterday, both pins with audio out (13 and 31) were connected together and then threw capacitor connect to audio in of intercom PM1000. After disconnecting pk pk, sound is now completely gone. There is only high pitching sound left when I switch on Skyview, that is much better when I switch on AP servos. But this sound is not annoying, so I will just let it be. I will talk to you guys on AERO2011 how to solve the problem in future. Thanks for your help!
