Is terrain airspeed adjustable?

Is the airspeed at which the terrain is switched on adjustable. Mine keeps flashing from the sectional to terrain and back while taxiing. Can't find anything about it in the manuals.

I too have this problem. It seems to switch over at 12Kts ground speed for me which is on the edge of a faster taxi speed in some cases. It would be good if it switched at something like 20 kts.

The speed is not adjustable. The feature of hiding terrain alerts on the ground is new for 10.0, and we're open to making this better if it's not acting in a reasonable way.

It definately needs the airspeed threshold increased.  I am thinking at least 20kts.  I don't see any downside to even higher, maybe even 30 knots.   It is a little distracting flashing back and forth.  It was also making a pop noise in my headset during the switch from terrain and back.

I second it being higher, like 30kts. I definitely think the removal of the terrain while less than this speed is an excellent added feature.
Maybe it can fit into the "development" currently in progress or we can make a change in the .dfg?
thanks!

This currently lies on top of our generic "in flight" logic which is based on GPS OR airspeed, as it is meant to be pessimistic about you being on the ground. If I remember right, any airspeed kicks it off (20 knots or higher). Probably 20 knots ground speed too. This has some time hysteresis as well.

It isn't adjustable in the DFG. It also won't make it into the change released later this week, which is already in stable testing.

It will need to be user adjustable - if we made it fixed at 30 knots, the guys with some LSAs and STOL planes will complain it goes off in the air. We've learned that lesson before!

There is no way it's making a pop in your headset. What is likely happening is that there is some other part of the air/ground logic that is making the pop, since they all trigger at the same time. Transponder turning on/off? AoA kicking off?
