Is there a typo in GPS chapter of SV Installation Guide?

I am replacing the SV-GPS in my Van's RV-12. The plane is equipped with dual HDX displays. The Installation Guide says the GPS should be connected to both displays. Figure 93 on page 8-8 has a diagram showing how the connections should be wired. The diagram shows the
- GPS TX wire connected to the SkyView RX ports, and the
- GPS RX wire connected to the SkyView TX ports.
That's a typo, isn't it? Shouldn't the TX wire be connected to the TX ports, and the RX wire being connected to the RX ports?

Nope, the transmitter on one device goes to the receiver on the other. Think a speaker and listener.

RVDan: The speaker and listener analogy is helpful. But it seems odd. If I hadn't seen the diagram, I would have thought that "TX" and "RX" identified what wire was supposed to be connected to which port. Thanks for your quick response and explanation.
