I installed an EMS 120 into my RV9 and used a Hall effect CS-01. When active, the readout on the screen is red, in an upward direction and numerically shows a negative number. (Example: in red, -20 amps).

Is this correct? Having a "red" bar is disconcerting.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

To reverse the reading - it depends if you're using it as am ampmeter, load meter, and which direction you want to be + and 0 - you'll need to reverse the direction of the sensor by changing the direction that the wire passes through it (literally flip the sensor around).

As for the colors and limits, those are completely customizable under SETUP > SENSOR > CURRENT.

I never knew there was a Hall Effect ammeter option for my D120.
Sounds waaaay more elegant than the shunt option.

Oh well! One lives and learns! ::)
