Jeppesen Chart trouble???

I've been using Jepp charts on the Dynon HDX (as well as the charts for my Avidyne 440) for the last 18 months or so - easy to update, worked great.

Last cycle ending Oct 28 and this cycle starting Oct 29 - the charts for the HDX won't load.

Nothing has changed with the panel, nothing has changed with the USB that I use to transfer and load the files, nothing has changed in my process; and it works just fine with the Avidyne files.

What has changed is the file structure that the Jepp JDMAPP loads onto the stick. It now loads two folders: 1 labeled Skyview Classic, 1 labeled Skyview HDX. Dynon doesn't read within those folders, so I have to bring the .dup (and other) files out of the HDX file for Dynon to read (the Skyview Classic files def don't work). The Dynon starts to read / install then comes back with an invalid DB License.
My subscription expires March of '27, so my subscription is still in play.

Trying to get help from Jepp has been a nightmare... but someone today let slip "this is a known problem, and we'll get back to you when we have a patch". Leading me to believe that they've known about this for a while, and that at least a few of us have complained. I asked about when a fix might be found, and the person went back to the 'script' that there is no problem on their end, it must be me. What great service!

Anyway, anyone else experiencing the same trouble?

Not a user of the Jepp charts, but I know that Dynon only looks for the .DUP files in the root directory of the drive - you're correct about that - it does not look into any of the subdirectories.

You might try deleting the Classic folder and moving ALL the files from the HDX folder into the root, and see if you still get the same error.

Did that, still get the same error.

I've seen other people report this problem, and they too discovered it was a Jeppesen issue. Can't remember if I saw it here or elsewhere. Jeppesen went way downhill when the ownership changed.
