Jeppesen data not showing

Someone with two legacy D1000 screens asked my advice. The Jeppesen Aviation and Obstacle data base shows installed but there is absolutely nothin displayed on his maps. Just the default Dynon base map. Is there any setting you guys can think of that should be changed or is the Jeppesen data maybe corrupt?

Is it selected as a MAP LAYER in MAP CONTROLS? It won't display otherwise.

Yes non US. Actually South Africa and here we buy the Once off Africa Aviation and Africa data base.
