Jeppesen warning Placard

Hi Guys,

Sorry, me again. I selected my map page the other day to go flying and a Jeppesen warning came up on the map to tell me the information was now out of date. How do you get rid of the warning as it rather gets in the way!

Press MAP then accept.

The warning is something that Jeppesen requires us to put up on the screen.

Most units, if not all, with Jepps database have this warning - maybe it's a way of saying 'this is out of date- wouldn't you like to spend more money with Jepps and update ?" ;D I don't blame them for encouraging you to update but for visual flying why would you want to, airports etc aren't going to change locations very often :D

I agree with you Jake, unfortunately until the Basemap is updated, we cannot sensibly use Skyview for Navigation in the UK as strips and unlicensed airfields are not shown.
