lycoming tach sender for SV

hi there

Whats the best way to get the tacho readings to the skyview? My engine is arriving in a few weeks and wonder if its best to get a tach sender or take feeds of the mag wires?

im using one standard mag and one P mag, will that matter if i take feeds off the mag wires?

A tachometer sender is not required or desired. You can use the magneto and the pMag tach output per the SkyView EMS installation instructions (section starts on page 7-36 for the rev 10 version.

You can also just use the tach output from the P-Mag alone as it sends a signal all the time regardless of mag checks.
