Talked to Dynon over a year ago regarding heading on the D-10A for certified system. Since there is a compass, they left it off. Saw a video today of a new certified install that had heading information. Any information on the process to display heading?

You can use the menus to turn it on on the D10A. You can even do a compass cal - quite a bit more complicated than the Skyview systems. It likely won't be very accurate / useful without the remote magnetometer which is not approved for the certified system.

I did both on my old D10A, internal and remote compass. I was able to do the flight calibration of the internal compass - and it was accurate. I later changed to the remote compass as that was the only way to get OAT into the D10A. I wanted this for TAS and winds aloft data.
