I would like to see an option, maybe in the EMS page, to start a countdown maintenance timer to bring up a message to the user upon expiration. Maybe we could set a timer to expire on 681 tach hours for example, with the label "oil change due", something like that. If the timer is expired it stays live as a "message" until cleared or reset. If we could set a calendar date in addition to (or instead of) a tach time, then we could also use it for things like "pitot-static check" or "transponder check" or "annual inspection", some of those other pesky little items that we all have to keep track of.
