I had a helicopter takeoff below me & get very close. We didn't see each other until we were very close. I needed glass on the floor & he needed to look up. His icon was lost in Terrian detail (insufficient contrast). It needs to be brighter & perhaps flashing.

Make the ADS B traffic more attention grabbing
Dynon: No, please don't.

[list bull-blackarrow][*]It's already an annoyance on occasions in the traffic pattern.  Or en route when it becomes clear it's a false alarm generated by my own transponder and the FAA.

[list bull-blackarrow][*]How could an enhanced warning spot an aircraft without a transponder anyway?  There numbers are small but it only takes a single one to ruin one's day if "see-and-avoid" isn't in use.

[list bull-blackarrow][*]I'll expend effort looking outside and doing clearing turns when I'm in "high threat" areas.  Any (valid) TIS/ADS-B traffic warning is a bonus but IMO that little 1024 X 600 pixel display is already too cluttered with PFD, mapping, terrain, traffic, EMS, transponder, etc.

[list bull-blackarrow][*]Anytime a feature is added, no matter how small, the possibility of introducing a defect arises.  (I'm still dealing with defects from features implemented in firmware version 10 and 11.)  Dynon should first spend its engineering resources to fix defects.
