I just read the July 23 2010 explanation of the ADS-B system
It also explains what Dynon supports. Could someone please update this, because I think it is no longer accurate as to what Dynon currently supports. It is a good explanation of a very complicated and confusing system. It would be good if it was up to date.

Since then, we released our ADS-B IN device, in November 2012. We now support transmission of ADS-B via our transponder (just like the document says) and now have full traffic and weather reception. Please see our SV-ADSB-470 product page for more details on our reception capabilities:
