Map INFO -> Airport Info Question

If I touch an airport, i get the little airport info bubble. However, if you want more info than what is in the bubble like (runways, frequencies, charts, weather, basically everything), there is no convenient way to get it. Instead, you have to go back, back, MAP, INFO to get the info page.

I would think there should be an easier way to get to the INFO screen than this. Even something as simple as touching an airport, and the menus changing to the MAP menus, would be beneficial.

It's interesting that touching the transponder code with get you the XPNDR menu but touching the MAP or even an airport does not?

Agreed! If you have SV Touch, you can add an INFO touch button to any of your 10 map info items which is basically the same as hitting MAP>INFO. And on the upcoming SkyView HDX, the INFO button will always be on the bottom bar (there isn't a "deep" menu system in the same way that SV Classic and Touch have).

Hmm, i actually dont like the touch buttons and prefer using the hardware buttons on the bottom. I would hope that some UI changes can transfer to SV Touch as well, especially pretty simple changes like this.
