I had the same problem today until I cleared the cache in my browser. Then the new databases appeared although the old databases were also listed. That may have effected the display. Hope this helps.
We updated the database on Tuesday the 20th, so it was most likely that your browser page needed to be refreshed.
BUT, we also found today (Friday 23rd) that some COM radio frequency data was missing. So we posted a revised version today. If you downloaded your data in the last three days, you may should download the new version.
"found today (Friday 23rd) that some COM radio frequency data was missing."
hmm, does that mean we dont need a firmware update to get Approach (LA CENTER) frequencies that are missing, but rather have the data added in a future av_database release?
So it was some Tower and ATIS frequencies missing, which are items we already support. We can't just go and add new stuff without a software release But...
This database revision DOES add approach/departure frequencies to underlying airports. We could do this since we already supported approach and departure frequencies for some airports. So now if you look up KRNT for instance, it does now have a list of approach/departure frequencies. It has a nice narrative of what directions to use the frequency for as well.
This does not mean we have a list of center frequencies arbitrarily listed. The frequencies we have are the ones the FAA lists against specific airports. We will have the ability to look up ATC and FSS frequencies via the NEAREST function in the next software release.
