Hi gang:

I'm about to assemble the accessory case on my lycoming 0-320 and I'm wondering if I need to install the drive shaft that would normally drive a mechanical tachometer?

I plan to use Emag/Pmag ignitions, can the dynon D-120 pick up the tachometer signal from these?

                                           thanks, terry.

The D120 needs at least a 10V pulse to work. Some of the newer E/P-mags output a 12V pulse, but older ones only put out 5V. So you need to check with them about what version you have.
