Missing data on new terrain file for Europe

Loaded one of my two SkyView screens with the new terrain file for Europe yesterday. During flight I could compare the old and the terrain between the two screens and was disappointed to learn that the new database is missing major lakes and rivers. It showed dry land where the old database depicted blue water. The flying was done around Oslo, Norway.

I would like to revert to the old database. Is there a way to get hold of the file. It´s still in one of the screens, but I don´t know if it is possible to transfer the file from the screen to a USB stick.

I had a similar problem

very long to charge on one of my 2 10inch sky view and at 48% , just say that it was impossible to continue.

everything is working very well but the previous post do not incite me to try again!!!

The file actually loaded without any problems, although it took about an hour and a half. It did, however, take several attempts before I was able to download the full 2.5 MB file  from the Dynon website. The first few times the download ended, apparently successfully. However, when I checked the file size it was only about 1.5 MB so the download was obviously incomplete. I suspect this may be the reason many are having problems validating the file while loading it on to the SkyView.

Unfortunately, databases cannot be exported from a SkyView display, only loaded.

Please email our Technical Support department with this request - support@dynonavionics.com, Attn: Steve, and reference this post. We can provide you with a link previous versions of the terrain databases.

Please save some screenshots from both displays by inserting a USB flash drive and pushing buttons 2+7, showing the discrepancies.
