Missing numbers

While flying today my screens were missing numbers. I checked the user Log afterward and the recordings were normal. I have attached a picture. The power was more than 5%, the MAP more than 1.9", ditto for oil pressure and temp, etc..

Has anybody seen this behaviour before?

Thanks
Mark

Normally I'd suggest you have a MAP sensor issue however there is more going on here.
1. Oil Pressure to low
2. Oil Temp too low, same temp number as Fuel Pressure (23) - coincidental ?
3. Why is fuel efficiency set to L/100 kilometres when everything else is in us gals ?
It's like someone has either not programmed everything correctly or set incorrect Sensor types ?

I'd be interested in what the solution is when you get it sorted.

As an aside - you don't believe in running leaner than peak ? At those altitudes, & the resultant reduced power available, you could save a bit of money running much leaner ;)

Interesting. Maybe you found the altitude limit for the SV ;D

Have you seen it a second time. I'd say it was just a glitch that may go away with a SV restart. Especially since the logs are correct.

Thank you for your replies gents.

We were climbing to 15,000'. I fly across the rockies frequently up to 17,000'.

The oil pressure should indicate 69 according to the logs.
The oil temp was 231 according to the logs
The MAP was 18.9 according to the logs
The fuel flow was a little rich because I had just climbed at 1000 fpm to cross 13,000' to allow room for a Citation to pass underneath and the oil temp went a little high. Normally I lean it to 100 ROP for the climb.
The L/100km is there on purpose, just to compare to driving on the highway. In other words; a gimmick.

The airplane has two D1000 installed and they have never done this in the close to 100 hours since first flight.

Thanks,
Mark

I had the same thing happen yesterday with 15.2 on SV1000T - a lot of different indicators refused to display the digit 8: baro, IAS, TAS, GS, ALT and more

Doesn't seem to be a "one-off" problem, now confirmed to also affect the PFD.

I think it was like that from startup, but didn't catch it until later. Check all your digits closely before taking off for IMC

Yes, on next boot everything was back to normal - except that the ADSB 472 is totally unreliable as reported separately.
