Missing Vertical Speed Required

I added the Vertical Speed Required box to my map and configured it so that I would arrive at 1000' above my destination 3 miles out. When it read 500 fpm, I dialed in 500 fpm down in the autopilot. As soon as I started the descent, the Vertical Speed Required field changed to "----". Why is this not continuing to display the required vertical speed?

It should. Were you following along your programmed flight plan or had you gone in a different direction? If you can recreate it, can you shoot a video or grab some pics of the behavior in action?

I just had a direct to programmed in on my GTN. When I dialed in the descent on the autopilot, it disappeared. If I can recreate, I'll grab a video.

I finally had a chance to get out and test all the new features. I was able to get the VSR to work when I had it as a D-> but it did the same for me (---)  when I returned back home on a loaded flightplan. It never worked until I did a direct to the final waypoint, than it worked again.
