Multiple EFIS Installation and EDC

As it does look now to have eventually the GPS HSI function up, I am thinking about stacking two D10A EFIS on top of each other. My idea is to use the top one as ADI/PFD and the lower one as HSI display, and in case of failure backing up #1.

Do I need two EDC's for this kind of installation or will the DSAB function enable the system to read the other one?

If I have two of them and they are slightly off from each other, how will this interfere the DSAB?

We don't currently have plans to share an EDC over the DSAB, and if we did, this wouldn't be redundant since the EFIS with an EDC wouldn't be able to share it if it fails.

Basically, you'll need two EDCs if you want dual EFIS units.
