My D10A continually restarts too...

Hello, I have the same problem that Dave H. reported below (constant reboot on startup).
My config : D180 with AP74 on the left, D10A on the right.
After powering up, the Dynon logo appears for about 4 seconds, then a black screen for about 3 secs, then the Dynon logo again...
Most annoying is the fact that this is the second problem I have had with a D10A in 3 months : I purchased the first one in August and it stopped working completely (black screen) on the third flight. I returned it via the local distributor (I live in France) and got a replacement within a month (Dynon and the distributor did a good job and the distributor even lent me a replacement in the meantime). Now after 18 flights (approx 20 hours), the new (or refurbished) unit failed as described above.

Both D180 and D10A are powered from the same source. I have had the D180 for 6+ years (860 hours) and it has always worked flawlessly.

My distributor has already asked that I send the EFIS back to him so I am only mentioning the problem here for information and feedback.

Hello Bruno,
I bought second hand a D 10A, meanwhile with different problems (speed, altitude and vertical speed have disappeared, otherwise everything is working) but I would be interested to know the French distributor you dealt with, hoping he can help locally!

Hi, it would seem that I meet the same trouble as Bruno. For my D10A, I suspect that is an problem of hardware: it has worked correctly until I changed both PTT switches for radio (soldering iron not connected to the ground?). I will ask directly Dynon to repair in their facilities? Have a nice day. Christophe

Thanks for the answer. I shall get in touch with them. My Lambada is based in LF 8329 Brue-Auriac (Var)

Hello, after 9 months grounded, my EFIS-100 keeps dark and EMS-120 does the endless reboot. Any advice?

It could be a hardware problem, but, the fact that they're both exhibiting issues makes me wonder whether they're getting adequate voltage. If that checks out, get in touch with our support team (contact info in signature)

I had the same issue with a 2nd hand D10A which I'd been successfully using for about 20 hours and sent it in for repair. The standard rate repair got it back to me working again with no problems since. About 100 hours more since with no issue.
