Dynon,

I can confirm that the Nav source lost bug still exist with 5.3 and the Aera 510... On a two hour flight today it happened about 10 times... Totally random and had no rhyme or reason to it....

Still seeing it with a 396 GPS source to my D100, D10A, AP-74, SV-32 (x2) system at FW 5.3. Seemed to decrease in frequency after an earlier FW update, but still sxists, and as Brantel said, pretty irregular with no pattern. However, I do see it happen occasionally when I do a direct-to update and execute. Not always, so it must be the timing of the execute (enter) push.

Just more data for your research!

Cheers,
Bob

Thanks for the reports. I've added them to our internal bug tracking system.

Dynon Bug Tracking.........  :D

Ooops...I better be careful, they might use this on me when I visit there in August. :-?

I am sure the bugs will be exterminated in time, so far none like that for the ARINC429.

Hey guys, good news. We have improved our GPS data handling and made it more robust to unreliable data streams. Long story short, we handle it more gracefully. It will be included in a D10/100 series software release later this month. Once that is out, give it a try. Thanks
