Dynon is introducing, at Sun-n-Fun, a new two-place stereo intercom. The SV-INTERCOM-2S has everything pilots need to connect EFIS systems, stereo music, and other audio devices in their panels, for half the price of an audio panel.

The full announcement is here:http://dynonavionics.com/docs/news_version_Com-and-Intercom_08April2013.html.

An Intercom drawing (the intercom includes both horizontal and vertical faceplates) with panel cutouts are on the Product Documentation page:http://dynonavionics.com/docs/support_documentation.html.

Hi. Not flying yet but I have the Full SV setup and have been watching for the comm but the Xcom was not expected. It seems full of function but why was bluetooth not included? The 3.5mm aux music input is kinda an older input now in favor of bluetooth... I suppose Ill have a bluetooth dongle hanging from my dash now cause I will be buying both the xcom and comm regardless..

There is a rear input for music as well, so you can hide the bluetooth adapter instead of plugging it into the front, and when you plug something in the front it will override the rear input.

Bluetooth is expensive in low volumes like our products, and many headsets today include it, thus it was not a logical addition to our product which was targeting a very affordable price. Just adding bluetooth to about any other audio panel out there generally adds more than our whole $295 MSRP!
