Can you PLEASE change the heading bug to continue the turn in the direction the bug was moved even when you turn the bug past 180 degrees?

With the current "feature" if ATS stay "make a right 360" I turn the heading bug to the right and if I turn it past the tail of the HSI then the autopilot will start turning left to take the "shortest route" back to the heading bug. So to keep the right turn going you have to stop turning just shy of the tail of the HSI and wait...then add a little more turn...then a little more turn...until finally you forget what the heck was that first heading again...

Instead a preferred function would be if you turn the heading bug right all the way around (even past the tail) the autopilot should continue the right turn until it finally captures the heading bug.

An how about displaying Glide Ratio (GS/VS) number in addition to the glide range ring. That was you can set an accurate glide speed based on your your current weight not max gross weight.

I believe that is already compensated for by using the glide range ring, at the current weight. When the ring is extended furtherest, you are at best glide performance for that weight.

The Dynon glide ring is based on one glidespeed entered during the initial setup. Best glidespeed changes with weight and you have no immediate way to change that speed without entering the setup menu, even if you happened to know what that speed was. Glide ratio will show you which airspeed is best under your current and immediate conditions. Two different pieces of information. I setup my Garmin AERA handheld unit to show my constantly changing glide ratio as part of the normal display. So I adjust my IAS to whatever gives the best glide ratio at that moment.

Used together they are a powerful tool. The glide ring (Ground Speed vs Winds Aloft) tells me which direction is best to fly while glide ratio (Ground Speed vs Vertical Speed) tells me what IAS will get me the furthest in that direction.

Doesn't this mimic the way conventional HSIs worked?
