In the new release, my warning light stays on after "ack" the red warning text on the EMS D10. I have three fuel tanks and normally leave one with minimal fuel (in the red). In the previous release I could cancel the aural warning and the warning light went out even though the fuel tank quantity flashed on the EMS. In this case the red warning light would come on again with the next red text warning eg: low fuel press.

Also I can change the order of the EMS screens in the menu, but it defaults to the Timers page after the EMS page after pwr down and restart, even though I selected : EMS,Fuel,Timers,DG in the "order" menu.

I am pleased with the presentation of the screens (text) and like the ability to show the DG on the EMS D10

The behavior of the alarm light is something we're looking into, but what you are seeing is the way we expect it to behave right now. It's a trade-off. We decided that the light would basically be an idiot light telling you that something on the EMS was in an alarm value, while the audio caught your attention for each new first alarm. We didn't really make the assumption that people would fly along with a system in an alarm value on purpose for long periods of time. Maybe we need to treat fuel differently.

As for the boot up screen, the order screen allows you to choose a few things- the order of switching, the active screens, and the boot screen. Look at that setp screen again and you'll see you can choose your boot up screen. It doesn't have to be the first active screen.

Hi,

I went flying today and the "order" function worked fine.

With respect to the red warning light, mine is placed right in front of me at the top of the panel so that I can't miss it. At night it would be nice to be able to cancel this, as it could be very distracting if dealing with a problem.

As an interim "fix" on the fuel warning, I will set the alarm off for that tank.

Thanks for the response.

Supplemental:
I believe the “protocol” for commercial aircraft is to “Cancel the Master Warning Light” (and bell or chime) before proceeding with any “Drills” or “Checklists” so as to eliminate any distractions.
I understand your reasoning but I am providing this for information purposes.
Cheers Bob
