New Firmware Updates

The purpose of this thread is to announce when new firmware is released.

Dynon Avionics Version 4.0 software is out

Version 4.0 of the software is now available for download.

The primary purpose of this update is to enable "full" DSAB where all instruments can communicate with one another on a simple two wire bus. No more serial interconnects! This software also supports the new HS34 HSI expansion module.

Dynon 5.1 software released

Dynon has released version 5.1 of software for all current products.

Major updates:

GPS assist, which backs up the pitot with GPS data in case of pitot failure.

GPS Steering for the autopilot when connected to a compatible GPS via ARINC-429

NAV and Localizer following for the autopilot.
