Yep, it's too soon ;)

All you should reasonably infer from that is that we likely won't be releasing anything major in the next few months.

I have a request: The boot-up procedure for the SV system is reminiscent of the early days of Windows.

Is it possible to have a more dignified boot-up? Right now, it (figuratively) coughs and sputters like a '67 Falcon. It does not convey the look and feel of a piece of quality equipment. Kind of creeps out the pax.

Making the boot-up faster would also be beneficial.

Thx,
Vern

I have a slightly different take on the boot / splash screen. I do like seeing the system run through its self-test procedure; should things be going awry in the start sequence, I'd rather have a look at the text than a frozen "Dynon Skyview" jpg image. I'm a linux Mint user at home anyway, so I guess I'm used to seeing some background console text. My vote is, no change please!

It is comforting to see some action during the boot even if it is only text scrolling down the screen. I'm not opposed to graphical representation of the boot sequence. The boot progress is preferable to a static display.
