No audio from SkyView

I have the audio out from skyview wired into a PAR100EX audio panel. The left and right channels from both screens are combined into mono and are using a switched nav audio input on the PAR. There is no efis audio coming out of the PAR, even with the volume set at 100 on both screens. The efis is outputting the audio at 50 ohms impedance, and the audio panel input is specifying 510 ohms. Could this be the problem, and what kind of impedance matching devise would I use to correct it?

There's no impedance matching needed. There's some lost power when impedances are different, but it doesn't cause pure silence, and SkyView has more than enough power to drive an intercom or audio panel like thousands of installs have.

You either have the PAR configured wrong so it's not passing the audio from the input you have selected, it's wired wrong, or SkyView is broken.

If you can, you can hook a headset to the output of SkyView in some temporary way and it will drive the headset fine. This will show SkyView is working and that you have the right wires.

OK that's what I needed to know before I tear into the panel. The PAR harness was made by them, but I didn't confirm the pins they installed, so I'll check those hopefully by just pulling the PAR out of the rack and looking back and counting pins. Thanks for the quick response
