No CDI on DI

I recently received my D10A back from repair with firmware 5.3 loaded.
My D10A is connected to a Garmin 296 and prior to repair displayed the cdi magenta line on the GPS screen, however this is now missing on this screen together with the course CRS. The rest of the information ie TRK DTW etc on the GPS screen displays normally.
Any help would be appreciated.

Go into the Advanced NMEA settings on the 296 and set the speed to NORMAL instead of FAST...

Thanks for the assistance, changed the NMEA setting to Normal & the CDI returned, this only seemed necessary on Ver 5.3, each other update has required no alteration to the 296.
