My first engine start revealed that the engine screen on my Skyview displays only show fuel pressure. All the information sent from the CAN bus is missing- Red XX.
Any suggestion on where to start?
I downloaded the most recent software but will re-do again tomorrow just in case.
If only part of the data was missing I would suspect a problem with a HIC connector but both HIC A and B would have to be faulty. Both connectors seem to be fully seated with no bent pins.
On a related issue with the SV 221, the flap and trim position sensors both read 5 volts regardless of position. I measured the signal wire from the flaps and the voltage does vary. But, when I measure the voltage on the wire to the SV 221 (pin 12) it shows 5 volts all the time, even when not connected to the signal wire to the flap position sensor. With the pos, and neg and signal wire disconnected, the signal wire to the SV221 shows 5 Volts.
Shouldn't this wire be neutral?
I haven't checked the trim signal wire but I suspect it also is 5 volts.
