No GPS indication on HSI after installing HS34

Hello
Last week we installed a  HS34 to work with the EFIS- D100  EMS D120  and Garmin GNS430 In our Vans RV-7
To make life easier I have had the wiring made up and hub modified by approach fast track systems.

Installation went ok and I also updated the Dynons with the latest firmware   5.4.0 and then reconfigured the system.
The HSI works fine in VOR / LOC but when I select GPS NAV source I do not get the magenta CDI on the HSI ?  There is also a note on top saying “WAITING for GPS FIX”

I flew yesterday to check out the VOR and localiser this works perfectly but again switching over to GPS NAV source I don’t get the magenta cdi ?
If I enter a flight plan or “direct to”  I do get the yellow pointer which works and points at the waypoint or direct to position,  so I am guessing that the Dynons are talking to the GNS430.

I am thinking that there may be a set up menu in the Ggarmin GNS430  :-/
Any help or advice to get this GPS cdi working would be appreciated.
Thanks

Mark

That sounds like the GPS side of the 430 is either not wired to the HS34, or that the 430 or Dynon side of the settings aren't completely set up. See http://wiki.dynonavionics.com/Garmin_430/530_Wiring for the settings in a nutshell.

Thanks for the swift relpy... :)

Looking at the pin call outs given here and my wiring diagram from appraoch; The wiring is correct. I have also double checked the P4600 (44 pin connector ) which I inserted the 4 wires into the 430 connector all ok.
Time to check the 430 set up

Really appreciate your help. :)
