no oil pressure indication

This is a manufactuer's install and the aircraft was flown by the factory for several hours so I assume the oil pressure worked then. It does not now.

On power up the oil pressure display shows no needle but a red block with several white dashes in it. Does this mean the D180 does not see the oil pressure sending unit? I can not find any information in the manuals.

The sending unit is a Honeywell. Is there a history of problems with this brand?

Yes, it generally does mean it's not being seen by the unit.

The Honeywell sensor is Rotax's current spec sensor. Since we don't sell or service it directly, we can't comment on it's reliability. You might check and make sure that the pressure sensor type is set to the Honeywell sensor (type 4).

I have the same issue. Sensor is mapped correctly and displays 0.88 psi when engine off and 2-3 psi when on. Did you get a reolution with the sensor?
