Throughout our flight around SoCal today, we didn't receive (or the system was unable to display) airport TAFs or METARs or winds when selecting WX for any airport in the region. Flight was 2 segments, each over an hour.

Is this a bug, a setting, or an outage of some kind?

METARS not working on my Skyview the last few flights. Only thing changed is the latest database update. Went back to the previous database And no change. Didn’t change anything else. I fly around the Daytona Beach area. Any ideas?

I saw the same thing this morning flying from Atlanta to Nashville. It was a problem with the FAA side of the system. All traffic was showing correctly on both of my systems (Skyview ADSB 472 and Echo UAT providing GDL 90 data) and neither showed any METARS/TAF or winds at fields. Verified good data streams from both units. Radar data was present and the missing data was all text. Started working later today. Sounds like the FAA should have issued an informational notice. My guess is they were working on something on their end.

No METAR or TAF data today in Northwestern Washington. Neither the SkyView ADS-B IN, nor ForeFlight and an Aera 660 both being fed by a Garmin GDL 50 ADS-B IN receiver, showed any data. Has anyone seen a note from the FAA saying they have a problem?

Long cross country flight today, Virginia to Lousiana. No METAR or TAF for 90% of the flight. Some data finally in then it goes away again. ATC had no clue as to cause.

This morning I received this email response from the FAA after I reported my experience:

"Thank you for reporting this issue. We discovered that one of the data feeds from which the system receives FISB products for uplink was degraded. We requested the service provider to fail over to the other data feed and confirmed that all FISB products were restored (as of 4/6, at about 13:30 UTC)."

I reported the issue via this website: https://www.faa.gov/air_traffic/technology/adsb/adsb_reports/.
