No TRAFFIC audio allert

I've just updated my 2 D1000 to 6.0 and solved the traffic problem with ZAON PCAS but now I see that the traffic icon sais "ZAON PARTIAL" ( what does that mean? ). Made a few tests and I notice the while the visual TRAFFIC warning was on screen I didn't hear the audio warning. I went to audio settings and see that traffic alert in on.
Is there any other setting that I should look at?

That's normal. Any device that is passive or has limited capability (such as ADS-B when it's not including radar returns for one reason or another) is considered a "partial" traffic portrait. It just means "be careful, you might not have the whole picture".

As for the audio - do you hear other audio, particularly "DYNON AVIONICS" when you boot SkyView?

Yes I hear other audio warnings as well as the boot " Dynon Skyview " sound .

So, first make sure you're getting audio from both displays. You can confirm that by going into each display's setup menu individually and going to the audio setup > volume test. You should hear continuous looping audio. If you're not on one, then one of the display's audio wiring isn't hooked up, and that might be your culprit.

I had the chance to get a better look at the system today due to a maintenance.
I can hear sounds from both D1000's . The wiring is ok.
The pilot confirmed that even in flight when a yellow TRAFFIC text is displayed he didn't hear the audio warning.

You mentioned you have a Zaon. Do you also have our transponder and/or the ADS-B module?
