Non documented airport

Is there a way to store a non documented airport (my strip at my farm) in the nav database without having it overwritten by the update?

I believe that the only way currently is to save it as a user waypoint through the Google Earth route.

For now, the Google Earth based user waypoints system is the only way to do this. Our next version of software will have a more robust user waypoint system.
