I changed the map orientation to "North up" today. This makes most of the top of the heading arc to disappear, including the digital ground track read-out. This problem occurs in both the 50 % and 100 % screen views. What gives?

This is intentional. The digital read out is not necessary since up is always true north.

The top of the arc is cut off because the aircraft's location on the map moves to the center from the bottom quarter.

But why did the track digital readout have to be removed? With the map in north up mode, there is no information about the track being followed.

There are enough of you out there that are confused by this that we'll probably revisit this particular bit of UI in the next release.

While you're working on that, it might be worthwile to put the compass rose on the distance circle, at least when not panning, but perhaps when panning too.... Helpful for track and bearings.
Thanks, Jack L

I support the suggestion above about adding the degree scale on the distance circle in North-Up mode. It would also be nice to have Track over Ground (TRK) as an option for one of the four data items in the corner og the map screen.
