OAT mounting

Howdy,

I need about 14' of cable on the OAT sensor and it comes with 10'. Can it be extended or can I trade it in on one with a custom length cable?

If it's a type 2, then yes, you can extend it. We don't sell them in custom lengths.

Type 1's can't be extended.

We've sold type 2's since about May of '05.

This is more recent than 05'. What kind of wire should I use to extend it?

Whatever you have lying around. It's three conductors, no current, and doesn't need to be shielded (even though it comes with shielded wire).
