OAT probe output?

Anybody using a Vision OAT probe with their Dynon?

I have an OAT probe already installed, hard to get to and would like to use it with my Dynon EFIS. It is a 3 wire probe and I was going to try to hook it up per the Dynon instructions for a 3 wire probe.

Was wondering if there was a way to test the probe before hooking it up? Resistance values between certain wires? Voltage drop across certain wires?

Since we manufacture our own OAT probes in-house, the resistance curve across the temperature range is unique. Other OAT probes are not supported, and will likely not work.

Just FYI, the resistances across the yellow/blue wires on our probe are:

20C: 12.5K
30C: 8K
40C: 5K

Nope, it's +30C. I chose a couple of points that are easily testable (room temperature plus/minus a bit).

Ooops, totally botched the initial post with bad, impossible data. Just trying to throw you off track, that's all.... um.... yeah ;)

The actual numbers for a type 2 EFIS OAT are (corrected above too):

20C: 12.5K
30C: 8K
40C: 5K

Also, that needs a 10K pullup to 5V to work right too.

The wiring diagram doesn't show a 10K pullup, is that normally supplied by the remote compass pin 7?
