I have a new installation (so the engine has not been run yet) and I'm using the standard Klavico fuel and oil pressure sensors from Dynon.
My fuel pressure indicates 13.8psi and the oil pressure indicates 138psi (with the engine not running).
Shouldn't those both be zero?
I have configured the correct sensors in the Dynon EMS setup menu (and I've tried all the others ones just for 'fun'). I'm not sure why these two are not indicating zero. The sensors are properly wired and grounded.
Any thoughts? Maybe I'm missing something obvious?
UPDATE: I just did some Googling and found a document from Dynon stating that the newer sensors require a resistor to be spliced in. So now my question would be "how do I splice in a small resistor with tiny metal leads to the thick wires on the sensors??"
