I am fitting a Dynon EMS120 and connecting a 912 UL all has gone perfectly until we connected the oil pressure sensor which is the original one (photo) the cranking oil pressure with the old pressure gauge is 4 bar with the Dynon connected we are getting 5.6 bar so we are thinking we need a resistor? Or are we missing something?

Check that you have Oil Pressure Sensor Type 1 selected. See Oil Pressure, Page 5-9 in the EMS-D120 Installation Guide, Rev H.

In the setup we selected Rotax 912 and then selected number 1 in the list of oil pressure sensors, our engine is pre 2008, so number 1 is good. We cannot see any marks on the sensor that is fitted just what is in the photo. Can you determine if this is the correct sensor from the photo. So the EMS is displaying almost 2 bar more than old gauge.

Unfortunately, no, we cannot determine what sensor this is from the photo.
