Multiple people do answer the forum. We also read the whole thread before we answer.

You say that at 89 degrees that the oil temp, EGT and CHT match. So while you measured 365 ohms, the EMS did not, it read about 537 ohms. It reads right at that temp. It's just not possible for your ohmmeter reading to be right if the EMS is also reading right at that temp. Given that the EMS is the one we actually care about in the end, and it seems OK, I'm going with that.

Because of this, I consider the sensor OK at room temp. Thus, I can't see how it could be defective at a different temp. You also did a test to prove that you don't have any ground issues causing false temperatures.

Given all of this, I believe the temp you are reading is accurate.

If you'd like to try replacing the sender, give us a call. We are not trying to avoid replacing a $20 part, we are trying to avoid replacing things that aren't broken. We're doing our best here to troubleshoot a problem that is probably not a problem nor is it something we have ever seen before across thousands of installs. As you say, high oil temps are common in RV's, so that is a much, much more likely situation given the data we have at this point. As others have suggested, the GRT sensor is an option as well.

But as I say, call us and well send you a new sender.
